Alternatives to getting my tubes tied?

I heard tubal ligation tends to cause health problems in women. I also heard you can get pregnant while you have tied tubes, although pregnancy is VERY unlikely. I don't want to have children because I have Asperger Syndrome (a high-functioning form of autism) and the chances of autism in my child are very high. I also don't think I would make a fit mother because I can be emotionally unstable. I have an allergic reaction to anesthesia. I am 18 years old, btw and I have NO boyfriend. I do not have any children and I am not pregnant.
